Why get rid of the "XBOX" tile? The function of the tile is as the primary entry point to games installed on the device, and the games available in the marketplace. The tile actually has much, much less to do with the XBOX console than with general gaming on the device; it is just branding; MS has actually specifically separated the games downloads and center from the Market downloads (of all other software application types) as part of a concerted branding effort here for XBOX.

Its clever marketing and largely semantical. Use the xbox tile to download and play games is all one needs to know.

Of course any specific App can be accessed through the programs listing or pinned to the start screen.
