Atheists tend to follow science and what makes me "sure," not certain" ( a difference you failed to make in you hyperbole) is the probability factor. it is probable that many biological species have made it to our level of intelligence in the vastness of the universe and time and some surly went beyond us. We are close to being gods now. Probability makes me pretty sure, but not certain-lol, intelligence throughout the universe is pervasive.
