I know we've seen recs here for ink cartridge refills. I'm interested in doing the refills myself. I have a cheap Canon printer, copier, scanner that I've had for a year or more. It works fine and does all I need a printer to do. I don't print photos or need high quality just to print a few charts a week. New cartridges for this one costs over $47 for color and black.

Is anyone out there having any luck doing the refills at home? From what I've seen, it looks like this could save me maybe a couple hundred a year on cartridges..... if I could do it myself.
