Bought a first lot of SI today at 93.5$. I also have accumulated a few shares of KSB.DE @ 457Euro, KSB.DE is a midcap german pump company. Below is a link to a good writeup from Gurufocus:

Positives:
+Excellent balance sheet with ~ 200M$ in net cash
+Valuation PE around 10x, EV/EBITDA ~4.5, P/B ~ 1.1
+earnings expected to grow ~ 10% in 2012 relative to 2011
+good long term growth record
+nice dividend (~12Euro/share)
+resilient business
+ family controlled (via Klein holding)

- earnings pressured by material cost and below peak earnings (~ 60Euro/share)
- European contagion risk
- 2 tier share structure (KSB.DE and KSB3.DE - the latter have no voting rights)

I like the pump business because the economics have improved over the years, cyclicality is reduced since i watched that company in the 1980's. I suspect that it is due to increased consolidation and the important of the resilient and profitable service business. I think this trend is likely continue
