This isn't new, the Loading feature was added to let people know the editor was loading. The old editor had a blue screen that would change to white in a split second or for some like me up to 10 seconds. If you started typing when it was blue, and it changed to white (finished loading), your cursor would jump to the start of your sentence.

So this new one is an improvement, big time. I no longer have to wait 10 seconds that happened quite often with the old editor, the new editor loads VERY fast. Yes I see the loading message, very briefly, and not all the time.
