OH,

I took the plunge and hedged on Friday. So far so good. It's an interesting feeling, being divided in your hopes for the market.

Just in case you're interested, my theory is to short the S&P 500 when I get a signal based on intraday data. In theory this should give me a jump on most important down moves, since intraday generally breaks down first. If I break even on these trades, I won't have hurt my long term bullish portfolio, and I'll be protected somewhat if a major downward market move develops.

That's the news from the front. Where have you been hiding?

Esteban
