I think what you said was .... (a) There are limited resources i.e $$$$ (b) Don't piss away the resources on vaccinces because all the new stuff will go down the same road as the tried and failed stuff (c) Molecular genetics is a (potentially) better path and game changer ..... If the above is accurate I appreciate your summation. But I am a BIGOT and while Provenge ain't my cup of tea .... I want to see (after a billion years) the results of DC_VAX - maybe another year to finally see a clinical trial results. If it works in part then - * it was pure serendipty * noone - even after the fact - will understand why * and the point s/b - not why it worked - but why it didn't work in those that died. so I can't - at this time - throw away all the vaccine trials out there ...... remember - I am a lay person - not smart and not a scientist
