They do have all the slickster moves down pat, for sure.
We put a new guy in here in my district in 2010 ... ran a campaign as a true conservative.
It took him all of about three months to become a professional politician .... He has, I guess, placed me on his 'ignore' list as far as answering emails ... I asked him why he voted a certain way on an issue, and he (his staff) sent me the 'canned response' which, of course, didn't address anything in actuality. I sent one back, saying something to the effect of I hadn't voted for him, just to have him go back on his campaign promises less than three months in office. He never answered, and hasn't answered either one of the three I have sent since that time.
Now, this time around, no one is running against him on the Republican side (of course). Hell, I may vote for the democrat running against him. At least, I'd know what to expect! |
