For those who thought Apple was giving up the high end, pro market ... area.autodesk.com Exclusively on Macs. Some speculation that Mac wouldn't go after the high end video leaving it to Autodesk who who would make the high end tools exclusively on Macs. FCPX would be good for all but highest level and would fit hand in glove with Smoke for rough cuts and Smoke for finish. Smoke has dropped it's price from $15,000 to $3,495. ... and Apple has announced its next set of updates for FCPX. 9to5mac.com It's game over for video on PCs. Also beginning to look pretty certain souped up iMac's will be the high end replacing Mac Pros.
