I think what you said was .... (snip) Don't piss away the resources on vaccinces because all the new stuff will go down the same road as the tried and failed stuff

I can understand why I gave that impression, but that's not how I feel.

I do believe that MANY cancer immunologists have spent entire careers wrapped in dogma (and a majority of funding!), rather than in innovation. But, like you, I am waiting for results from a few ongoing trials, open mind.
