"all I know is that if it wasn't for the USA Canada wouldn't exist" How does that relate to not caring about it or understanding how many Americans have strong ties to Canada?? If it wasn't for Canada and the rest of the world, America wouldn't exist after the second world war. But what do these red herrings have to do with you being so uneducated about the importance of Canada to (at least) educated Americans??
