reduce the risk -- don't take the sedative -- sticking that thing up you?? -- how can that be any riskier than taking a ... I mean c'mon. And if they cut off a polyp while they are in there -- you won't feel it. I can't imagine there is any risk in taking some laxatives and drinking some epsom salts -- hell, it'll probably do YOU some good <g> I'm glad I did it for peace of mind -- one more trouble I know I don't have.
