I like L'il Smokies! I caught pure hell one time for bringing a crock pot full of L'il smokies in my home made bacon/honey 'barbecue' sauce, to an office function. Several made snide remarks about bringing something so 'crass' ... I laughed like heck when I was the only one to leave with a totally empty crock pot. They may have laughed, but they sure ate the crap out of 'em. I never heard anything after that except requests to bring more to subsequent functions. That was almost as good as the venison chili I brought one time, and after some of the wives had eaten it, someone blew the whistle on me and told everyone it was deer meat. I was threatened with a law suit over that one!
