Nonsense Kenneth and you know it was the democrats , especially Barney Frank who encouraged the buying of house by those who could not afford them by any standard. the They were warned about Fanny and Freddie Mac by congress, administration officials, John McCain and even the President of the Federal Reserve. They continued to buy any mortgages and so they kept coming.
