Ted, you are overly defensive over straw man arguments.

No strawman.............empirical evidence that Russian engineers may be willing to accept lower wages than American engineers.

I never said that the Russian aerospace industry didn't crater. Nor did I deny that there are a bunch of former Russian engineers now working as janitors or whatever.

You seem to ASSume that Boeing is just paying these Russian engineers minimum wage (or less) and that the engineers have no choice but to accept it. That's quite a patronizing attitude you have toward the engineers, and if I were them, I would find it quite insulting.

And you're assuming that Boeing is paying them top dollar...........even though you admit that the Russian aerospace industry has cratered and that some Russian engineers are working as janitors. Logical thought! I thought that was the strong suit of engineers. I guess i was wrong.
