How would you propose that we discuss the in-app purchase when every argument against it are using kids as the end user but parent not involve in that purchase decision?

Rather than use a credit card for purchases at the iTunes store, I fund it with those prepaid card thingies. I make sure there's no more than $50 in available credit. So, even if my overly precocious kids figure out my overly complex password, I have a limited downside. After all, if your kids stole your ATM card, figured out your PIN and withdrew money from your account, do you blame the bank? Say even if Apple decides to play policeman, how will it know when a parent is blaming their kids for a purchase they themselves made (and now regret and want reversed)?
