Off Topic (not specific to TPRO) --
From the first INC article <Computers were supposed ot bring us into
the future, so they must have been built to last. The programmers
couldn't have been that stupid>

Fact is, we weren't. In the numerous dev projects I have been
involved with since the early 80's as a prgmr and Project Mgr, I DID
bring up the that the system we are about to commit to building will
not be Y2K compliant unless we add in an extra xxx hrs or so to the
project plan. Upper management invariably said "NO. The users need
the sys NOW. Get it done! The sys probably won't be around that long
anyway." Yeah, right... and here we are.
