Bob KlassenST. LOUIS — Furniture Brands International, based here, has hired Bob Klassen as vice president, creative interiors division.

Klassen reports to Mark Wiltshire, president of Furniture Brands Special Markets.

Working out of the company's Clayton-St. Louis office, Klassen has overall responsibility of the creative interiors division.

Klassen has worked in both the manufacturing/direct-sourcing and retail sides of the furniture industry. Most recently, Klassen owned his own staffing company that specialized in the hospitality industry. He also worked with Dorel Inds. for 10 years as president of Ameriwood Inds. and COO of Ridgewood Inds.
