If anything, the goals of revenues and profit have diluted the ethics of most newsrooms, not liberals. Excuse me.. what does being liberal, or conservative, have to do with journalistic integrity? Journalism is supposed to be as objective as possible in it's reporting. There's obviously some serious problems, or we wouldn't have so many high visibility stories being broke by bloggers and free-lancers.. I read stuff every day that deserves to be headline news, but it is either not reported by the major networks, or mentioned in passing and then not followed up. This whole issue with Trayvon Martin and Zimmerman is a prime example where an individual is being tried (crucified?) in the media circus, and people's emotions are being yanked one way to the other. They devote so much attention to the Martin case, yet seem to gloss over the numerous cases of black on white hate crimes. It's news if a White possibly displays racism towards blacks, but it's just another mundane news item when it's the other way around.. Hawk
