How un--Democratic of Obama.

Is it the norm in the Democrat Party for the President such as Obama, Clinton, Carter, Kennedy to name or appoint the the Democrat Party Chairman?

If not the case, then Obama is sure demonstrating his penchant to control. I sense that Debbie Wasserman is a fighter and will not let Obama control her and the DNC.

Correct me if I am wrong--------in the Republican Party there is a democratic process
for electing the Committee Chairman from the local level all the way to the National Committee as well as the committee members who serve at each level.

I do know that the National Committee Men and Women are elected to serve. What I am not sure of is how the Chairman of the GOP is elected or named. I tend to believe that the National Committee elects the RNC Chairman-------rather than the Chairman of the RNC being named by a Republican President or President to be.
