My Portfolio (after I get through trading on Monday) will be 33% Preferred stock, 33% high quality dividend and income stocks, 25% CEF's, and 8-10% covered calls on my high quality dividend stocks.

My Preferred stocks and Dividend stocks are pretty much established with what I want to do. The CEF's are a work in progress. I got some help from a newsletter for my initial picks, but now want to take it to the next level.
cefconnect.com has a fantastic fund screener. I'm interested only in Funds that will give me income and would like to average 8% or better and since this is in an IRA, I'm interested in taxable high yield income. I'd like to get some idea how to construct a Portfolio with the proper percentages in MLP's, high yield, global, emerging markets, etc.

Milt

P.S. I'm also going to post on the Morningstar CEF forum and link this site, inviting people to come over here and post.
