Good idea, Ron. That's exactly what I needed to do to connect my old printer. Now, this new computer doesn't seem to want to shake hands with that printer. I'm not sure what to do as Windows 7 hasn't found it and I don't know what to do to introduce them. As far as the cable connect, that all seems fine and it plugs into a USB port in the back of my machine.

Ideas appreciated.... as usual.
