Banks reported a huge Q1 in their mortgage operations.

Problem is the big guns dont use a SL non captive AMC.

Further SL brags that all appraisals are human read for accuracy and completeness. So it doesnt scale well.

There is unallocated corp SG+A that gets put on the subs at portfolio cash zero.

The pumpers continually miss this in their SL posts.

On an EV basis, it is not worth the debt
