True.

If he's middle aged, dressed in a suit, and known in the neighborhood - almost zero

If he's a teenager & dressed gangsta - less true

If he's a teenager, dressed gangsta, a stranger to the neighborhood, and looking around suspiciously - less true

IMO there absolutely nothing wrong with judging people based on their appearance, behavior and the general statistics. Before you meet and get to know someone, that's all you have to judge them by and those things WILL BE correlated to outcomes. To not admit that is left wing idealism or the result of brainwashing.

The problem is hating everyone based on the actions of a few even after you know them.
