Many of my Investment winners have not been turnarounds but have come from M+A Before the crap hit the fan around 2007. I had 2 banks bought at at big premiums- First Indiana and First Charter. In the past, I have had several E reits bought out and 2 companies in the PCB industry. It isnt easy and can require patience but I think M+A is poised for quite a rebound going forward. Banks, industrials, CRE and energy are all likely sectors.
