ray-- go ahead, you're unlikely to hurt my feelings. for last few weeks i have been living off of lithium and glenlivet. no, i dont take a dim view of DATA, i take a dim view of extrapolations like, "it has gone up(down), and so it is likely to continue to move up(down)."<G>. positive or negative its only a bunch of numbers, and they change all the time. good luck to all, trey
