Gus, a link to an old article about IBM selling MR heads to Samsung... The article itself is not dated, but the URL looks like 4/22/97. techweb.cmp.com IBM said it expects to ship more than a million MR heads to Samsung this quarter and several million additional heads by the end of 1997. IBM's Storage Systems Division recently announced it will open new disk drive and component manufacturing plants in China, Thailand and Ireland as well as expanding its plants in the United States, Germany, Hungary and Singapore.
