So what does a person do about hc if they reach medicare age and can't find a doctor? "Move to the medical care" :>) I am convinced that the best way to go is to join an HMO. I have a great one here with Kaiser. If I get in physical trouble, I will arrange to stay here because of the climate and the built in medical care. You will need more than just an MD. I see my MD once every couple of years. Deal with him by Email and phone, which you can do in an HMO situation. The specialists are who you will want to see personally.
