I hear you! My 90 year old father is cheering for GM and Chrysler? He would say that if Pontiac was still making cars like the 1965 GTO, people wouldn't be buying Subaru's, or Tata's. I'm still driving 1979 Mercedes-Benz today, since my first one in 1980. I'm not sure how that fits into the equation, other than in 1979 Mercedes Benz produced good value.

China and India, in years to come, with a combined population of 3 billion, could be buying billions of new cars and I-phones.
