There are very good journalists and then there are journalists, at least in my view, that are a class above. John Burns of the NYTimes is/was one of these. I thought he had retired somewhere into Great Britain but advised the Times on this or that and occasionally co-wrote a piece or two. But today's NYTimes has one of the best pieces I've ever seen from him--his commentary on Murdoch's appearance on Wednesday before the investigating committee. I strongly recommend the piece. nytimes.com
