I purchased NFG last week. I wanted exposure to nat. gas, which I felt, and feel is at or near a bottom (I'm following T. Boone Pickens here).
I didn't do great in depth research on NFG. What sparked my interest is that is diversified within this industry, pays a nice dividend which has consistently been raised, and has an activist investor in Mario Gabelli pushing management.
