Betty, yes I've seen the posts. But you (and they) beg the two questions I posed. For your convenience I restate portion of your original post and my questions: You said: "X-ray lithography is ready now, and my sources say that a move is afoot to make it widely available in the US in the near future (1998)" My questions: <<If you can't reveal your sources, can you elaborate on what is meant by "widely available"? I understand that there are some XRL equipped steppers that are used to produce one-of-kind ICs used, for example, by researchers to get more funding for XRL development. Are you suggesting that we will see PRODUCTION ICs made from XRL that will COMPETE with DUV made ICs in 1998?>> Tulvio Tulvio
