For the life of me, I can't see why people think that having the ability to run, say, Office 95 on a tablet is going to matter to anyone.

The only reason is if you want to ditch your PCs completely, and you're attached at the hip to Excel (as I am). Im sitting comfortably on the couch with my iPad on my lap but at any moment I could get an emergency email and have to get up and fire up the PC and sit at mt desk for a half hour.

I want the "one ring to rule them all". I know, "tough luck".
