Credit does not belong to Obama. He and his close cadres resisted the attack right up to the end. Panetta kept the mission active. I do not
believe Obama gave the final go ahead.

I offer a small bit of supporting evidence. Just prior to the attack he was playing golf. They had to drag the SOB (Son of Baraq) into the situation room. If you look at the published picture of everyone in the situation room Obama is in the back row looking like a little scared mouse .
