Well, we can all drop him a line and tell him what we think. That's what the whole telecom consulting biz is all about, isn't it, Ed? :-)))

Thank you for taking the time to evaluate my background. My experience as a buy-side analyst, a sell-side analyst, and a strategic consultant/banker gives me an industry knowledge base and investing toolset that is matched by few in high tech today. I have also been fortunate to work with some of the best minds in the financial industry. At Connor Clark, a manager of $1.8 billion for high net-worth individuals, I sat on the investment committee with Gerald Connor, who is renowned for his value investing style. I covered the technology, mining and airline industries. I practiced fundamental research by attending trade shows at a time when most analysts were only going to conferences and listening to management sales pitches. In my second year, I won the Founders Cup award, given to the employee of the year. Subsequently, I was made a partner of the firm. I started ACI Research in 1997 in order to consult on the telecom industry to large high-tech mutual funds. I was a pioneer in disclosing my shareholdings to my clients, which included T. Rowe Price, Tudor Asset Management, Friess Associates, Wellington Management, Salomon Smith Barney and others. According to my soft dollar group, I was the most successful independent analyst ever who did not originate from a high profile Wall Street firm. I changed the mission of ACI Research in September 1999 to assist promising small to mid-sized public companies to strive through the telecom industry's pending consolidation. I have assisted with the finance strategy, product definition and development, strategic partnership and asset divestitures. My flagship client, Ramtron International Corp. (RMTR-O), has grown its core business in excess of 10x since the beginning of my involvement. Due to demand, I returned to consulting on telecom hardware and components. I focus on longer-term competitive factors and end-market business drivers, as well as product cycles. My clients see the value of these insights. Throughout my entire career, I have maintained the respect of my peers by acting in a responsible and diligent manner. I have achieved success in every endeavour against the common wisdom. |
