Gibson guitar broke the law. No President micromanages such matters at the level that Gibson got busted. Personally, my favorite guitar is a vintage red ES-355; I am not biased against Gibson. Unions are not evil. They are/were a big part of the growth of America's middle class and freedom. Eight hour days, five day work weeks, restrictions on child labor exploitation, benefits, safety... Sure there have been abuses as there are with any enterprise or group.
