You have a right to believe and express yourself and your fear of American "commies." The case was made and lost, thanks in no small part to Edward Murrow, and American sensibilities in the face of the "evidence."

But don't be surprised when the momentum of fear turns to another extreme, perhaps religious or race based, and the witch hunters come for you or your family who might not share the new faux paradygm.

Or the Jews, they always come after the Jews at all extremes. Even a few extreme Jews join the attack, to the joy of the whackjobs who use it as proof they are not anti semites..

Thus is history of extremists.
