Well, I guess if you believe that it's ok to live in Groundhog day where we repeat a boom bust cycles the banks cause every decade or so. I'd much rather we avoid all that pain by giving Capitalism, both the upsides and the downsides, a try. It's a remarkably good system and has made this country wealthy. Too bad everyone is in love with the idea of Capitalism on the way up, but Socialism on the way down. That's a recipe for long run stagnation and poverty for most Americans.
