Steve..Could it be politics?

How "political" could the Rand Cam Concept be?
Just think.. You wake up tomorrow, turn on the
financial news, and the first thing you see
is some Talking Head babbling on about some rotary
engine to replace the piston.. and having a hundred
other applications besides that... Blaw, blaw, blaw..
You and I and Andrew are millionaires!!!!!!

On the other hand, maybe not.
Maybe we will continue to see a lot of news about
electric cars.. Cars powered on electromagnetic
freeways and controlled by satellites loving care
from above... Driving by voice command our future
carriage will start regardless how drunk we are..
No need for seat belts nor air bags!
The vehicles themselves are manufactured at the
place of "purchase" as is everything else with the
advent of nanotechology's paradigm shift.

Sounds like sci-fi.. for sure..
Unfortunately, we are more likely to hear of nuclear
powered flying machines coming up with the sun tomorrow
than we are to see an article in one daily rag that
refers to the RAND CAM ENGINE.

Robertson should rename the damn thing..
From something less literal to something
more poetic.. Like the Road Kill Engine.

Bill Gates would be more likely to build
something with the ROAD KILL ENGINE in it
just for the fun of it than Ford ever will.

"Ford" is the "piston engine."
It will always be the "piston engine."
Old technologies do not accept new technologies.
They are replaced by them.
Asking "Ford" to support research on a rotary
engine is like asking AT&T to support digital
networks which allow the creation of direct
competion to themselves.
Robertson has got to find some interest that
will embrace his technology to the point that
it "threatens" the "Fords" of this world.

Robertson will die before Ford makes a car
with his rotary engine in it....

Your friend,
Marty
