I don't think it would make a bit of difference if they closed their doors tomorrow. You're right, it might not, especially if Best Buy continues their online presence. Actually it might be helpful if those people who would have bought at Best Buy go to an Apple store instead. Best Buy operates 1,150 stores worldwide, whereas there are only about 300 Apple Stores. However, I don't know how many of those Best Buy stores have the Apple store-within-a-store setups, not nearly as many for sure. Apple needs to open more Apple Stores, the current ones are far too busy. To quote Yogi Berra, "Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded."
