OSO I agree with your sense that SEA is not consuming as much as exporting the chip stuff. Still it is the fastest growing...

Difficult re: DVD vs. Digital Cameras. It's a toss up since LSI has a sizable number of leading digital camera wins and what appears to be a commanding position in the DVD decoder area for PC DVDs. Can't say for certain... Guess market for digital cameras near term and long term looks solid and should garner plenty of revenues... DVDs - many entrants but LSI appears to have a number of wins at this point and momentum and is a recognised leader so should do very well... Yet on a number of units sold basis DVD clearly ahead since much more PC DVDs will be sold than digital cameras... On a pricing/chip basis guess would be that digital camera chip (was $35 probably around $25 now) would be higher than PC DVD decoder chip... Not sure about consumer electronics DVD players... Main point though is: LSI is ahead of competition and both should be big revenue boosters.

LSI under $20 - who knows? I'm really trying to not get suckered into purchasing at levels that are not outright bargains. Set limit buys today on VLSI at 22 1/2 (stock 23% down today! on lessened earnings expectations) - just missed at 22 3/4 (a few more minutes that's all I wanted!) and UTR at 17 5/8 (wishful thinking for today since stock has been creamed so much and has gone through several stages of dumping already). No orders on LSI.

Rumor that Fidelity is dumping tech stocks. Last year Fidelity was responsible for my buying LSI at then bargain prices of $27 in last 2 weeks of December.

Will see if I get lucky tomorrow... good stocks at dirt cheap prices... most recent purchases (within past 2 weeks) were BIKE at 20 3/8 (I like Cannondales bikes! - have an H700), COHU at 35 3/4, UTR at 21 3/4. Should do nicely with these.

Temptation is not to overdo it. Into margin again but hopefully will restrain myself this time!
