Ha! the OSO sounds a bit pessimistic here... Mmmmmm... Can also add major selling of U.S. equities to raise capital (which would suck)... Japan sinking today. When you see stuff like this you begin to realize why regulations in the U.S. do not permit insurance companies to carry stock at m.value without a reserve in the U.S. and stock ownership by banks. (Are these right? - not wise to back loans with capital that fluctuates wildly as those in SEA are finding out...)
