If we had another repatriation tax holiday, with taxes dropping to 5%, Apple would bring back a huge portion of their cash that is currently overseas. They dont need anywhere near that much cash sitting overseas.
That may well be true. You could also ask whether they need that amount of cash sitting anywhere, and what difference it makes where it is.
