Regarding your suggestion that Palermo give back his salary and bonuses - if he is so confident in his abilities, he should talk to Larry Osterwise, Pres. and CEO of Scangraphics (SCNG). Mr. Osterwise, in a vote of confidence in his company, offered to forego his salary for a year. In return, he got 250,000 warrants to purchase (note- PURCHASE, as in - out of his own pocket) company stock at a price 25% above the closing bid price on the date of the agreement.
If the company/stock doesn't perform, he doesn't get paid. If it does, he stands to make much more than he would have been paid.
In the case of QDRX, the 25% figure should probably be more like 100%! Make him really work for his money, considering where the stock has been and where it is.
Gee, how innovative. Maybe all public companies should pay thier top execs this way!
BTW - keep the heat on - even the best teams get booed when they aren't playing well. |
