JMHO, I have no idea if LQMT would DIRECTLY benefit if Apple used it in the iPhone, but I think they would indirectly benefit, as it would substantiate the value of the material in other industries. If nothing else somebody would probably buy them out.

A thought that did cross my mind, though probably not true, is that Apple bought the rights for consumer products as a defensive measure, never intending to use the material.
