DrRisk has followed this stock longer and is aware of the caveats that still lie ahead of it. Like the Woody depressing news, this announcement is a non factor. It was a given that it would be signed and thus factor into the price of the stock. The really meaty annoucement is still the JV, who I still believe to be Hunt Oil. Note how the annoucement states majors and large independents. I still do not believe in the big money sale. I'm still leaning for a nice deal that includes the JV picks up the exploration cost until a discovery is made and commericalbility is declared. There is a outside chance that a tiered deal could be signed, with particular reserve stipends attached. Less than 1 bil, only so much, more than a billion, so much. That is proven reserves as opposed to todays probable reserve figure. To turn over $600 million for this block right now, is downright foolish and still risky. My two cents.
