The timing on this is a bit odd. This doesnt normally happen until a month or two before the launch of a new iPhone. However, there really is no chance of an early summer launch. Qualcomm's guidance and the availability of 28nm parts preclude anything before September or so.

I don't know, that's a strong signal. Apple has a secure handle on retail prices by retailers, I'll guarantee. Of course the bears will say they're reducing prices because they're not selling... which is not the Apple I know.
