SYNOPSIS: I need to comment or save maps as it happens...I dropped the ball on that, but I'll keep chugging.

As I recall, Saturday was a severe day...lots of tornadoes in Kansas and Nebraska (warm front surge). The subsequent cold front crossing US formed a day earlier than forecasted and didn't strengthen like it was expected. The low seemed disconnected from upper-level motions.
