what are the fundamental signposts within this year that we can use to eyeball their progress towards recovery?

Obviously, the ramp in Lumia sales will be a closely watched metric. I have no idea what the street expectations are, but my sense is that you are being optimistic below. Nokia shipped 1 million Lumias in their first quarter and 2 million in their 2nd quarter. These were predominantly 800's and 710s as they rolled out to various carriers. In the current quarter (Q2), sales will be bolstered by the 610 and 900 launches. My WAG will be 4 million Lumia's total. As for the Lumia 900 specifically at AT&T, I would guess far less than 3 mln. The good news is that it appears to be the 2nd best selling device at AT&T; that should mean less than 4.3 mln :). How much less is the question. In Q1, AT&T sold 1.2 million non-iPhone smartphones. I would speculate 1.2 mln represents the upper bound for 900 sales in the launch quarter. This is all WAG, JMHO, etc etc.

Smartphones:
- Can we expect 3mln Lumia 900 sold in Q2? More? Less? What's a reasonably good goal?
- Can we expect 10mln Lumia phones sold in Q2? Q3? More? Less? What are reasonable goals?
