You do not understand pricing if you think that subsidy goes into lowering the price of gasoline. It goes directly to the bottom line profit. Supra normal profits of Big Oil are not an efficient market, the invisible hand was amputated long ago. The retail prices are hardly driven down because of government subsidies. However, if you believe so, how can you argue against government subsidies for sustainable local energy - green fuel production?? It is the ultimate in GOP hypocrisy to promote Big Oil subsidies.
